The Small Kit is a compact, on-the-go resource for minor first-aid needs, perfect for campus events, outings, or general emergencies. It contains essentials like bandages, gauze, antiseptic wipes, a CPR breathing barrier, and more to help you stay prepared in a pinch.

We offer two kit options:

The Daypack is a versatile, well-stocked first-aid kit designed for extended outings, events, or any situation that calls for a robust selection of emergency supplies. Packed with essentials, it includes items for treating minor injuries, managing burns, providing CPR, and more, making it ideal for longer campus activities or small trips.

The Daypack features two organized pockets, the Small Pocket (Easy Access and Main Pocket: Includes a wide range of first-aid supplies.

Any Carleton University student or student group can borrow a first aid kit for up to one month. The service is available for events, trips, or personal use.

We offer several types of kits, including small, daypack, compact, standard, car, compact, and survival backpack kits. Each kit contains different inventory items to suit your specific needs.

To borrow a kit, complete the Borrow a First Aid Kit Request Form or visit the USC office at 132 Nideyinàn during operational hours.

The service is free, though a $10 or $20 deposit is required depending on the kit. The deposit will be refunded when the kit is returned in good condition.

You do not need to replace any supplies you use. Just return the kit and any multi-use items in the same condition as when you borrowed them, and your deposit will be refunded.

Your deposit is held as a guarantee to ensure the safe return of the first aid kit in good condition. It is not used for any other purpose and will be fully refunded to you when the kit is returned in good condition. If the kit is not returned, the deposit will be used to re-purchase the kit/supplies.
