It’s simple! If you’re heading home in the evenings and want some company or feel unsafe, give us a call at (613) 520-4066 or drop by our office. Two of our friendly volunteers will be happy to walk with you anywhere on campus and even up to one hour off campus. We can also accompany you on OC Transpo buses and light rail to ensure you feel safe throughout your entire journey.
If you’re uncomfortable being accompanied by two USC Foot Patrol volunteers in uniform, don’t worry—we can still help! Just let us know, and we’ll switch to plainclothes, removing our vests and utility packs, so you feel more at ease while still receiving the support you need.
Our teams offer safe walks both on campus and in nearby off-campus areas. We can go anywhere within the Ottawa-Gatineau area. Our ideal locations are within an hour of campus but if you’re unsure whether we cover your destination or would like a safe walk for longer, just give us a call, and we’ll let you know!
